About Quiz Rebel — Built by Players
A free word game toolkit built by word game enthusiasts who got tired of slow, cluttered tools.
Quiz Rebel was born out of a frustration that every serious word game player knows intimately. You are mid-game. You have seven awkward tiles on your rack. You need an answer fast — not after navigating three cookie banners, two pop-ups, and a loading screen. You need it now.
The existing tools on the internet were not built with that moment in mind. They were built to maximize page views. We built Quiz Rebel to maximize something else entirely: your game.
Every feature on this platform was designed around a single question: what would make a real player's experience better? Wildcard support in the unscrambler because blank tiles are a real part of Scrabble. A three-field interface for the Wordle Helper because green, yellow, and gray are exactly how Wordle works. Sub-word discovery in the Anagram Solver because you are not always looking for a seven-letter play.
We are an independent project — not a corporation, not backed by investors, not optimizing for acquisition. Just a team that plays word games and cares deeply about making the best free tool on the internet.

Without selling your data. Without interrupting your game.
Traditional online word tools make a round-trip to a server for every query. That means network latency, server processing time, and results that arrive anywhere from two to eight seconds later — just long enough to break your concentration.
Quiz Rebel's dictionary and matching algorithm run entirely inside your browser. When you hit search, the answer is found locally, in your device's memory, before the network has even had a chance to respond. Our frequency-map algorithm processes over 14,000 real English words in under one second on any modern device, including older smartphones on slow mobile connections.
Most word game tools log every query you make. That seven-letter Scrabble rack, that Wordle guess you were embarrassed about, that anagram you spent twelve minutes on — all of it transmitted to and stored on a third-party server.
Quiz Rebel was designed from the ground up with a different architecture. The letters you type never leave your device. Our entire word dictionary is embedded directly in the application code and executes locally in your browser. There is no query to intercept, no server to breach, no database to sell. This is not a privacy policy promise — it is a structural impossibility.

have spotted yourself — the difference between a modest score and a triple-word square.
Designed around the exact mechanics of Wordle. Three separate input fields — one for green (correct position), one for yellow (present, wrong position), one for gray (absent) — mirror precisely how the game provides feedback. The filter runs instantly as you type, narrowing 2,987 five-letter words to only those that match every constraint simultaneously.
Two modes for two different needs. Exact anagram mode finds every word that uses all your letters exactly once — ideal for competitive word puzzles where every tile must be placed. Sub-word mode finds every valid word hidden within your letters, grouped by length, so you can quickly identify two-letter openers, four-letter strategic plays, and the rare seven-letter bingo.

Quiz Rebel will never go behind a paywall. We will never introduce a "premium tier" that locks core functionality. We will never sell your data, display intrusive ads that cover the tools, or require an account to use anything on this platform. These are not marketing promises — they are the founding commitments this project was built on, and we intend to honor them indefinitely.
The future roadmap includes a Scrabble Dictionary validator, a board analyzer, and expanded strategy content. All of it will be free. All of it will be private. All of it will be fast.

What We Do Not Collect
- We do not collect or log the words or letters you enter into our tools.
- We do not store search history, session data, or any personally identifiable word game activity.
- We do not sell user data to data brokers, advertisers, or third parties.
- We do not build user profiles or behavioral tracking identifiers.
What We Do Use
Quiz Rebel uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google may use cookies to serve interest-based ads. This is a standard advertising practice. You can opt out at any time via adssettings.google.com.
We also use standard server access logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) solely for uptime monitoring and security purposes. These logs are not used for advertising or sold to any party.
Your California Rights
- Right to Know: You may request information about what personal data (if any) we hold about you.
- Right to Delete: You may request deletion of any personal data we hold.
- Right to Correct (CPRA): You may request correction of inaccurate personal data.
- Right to Opt Out: You may opt out of the sale or sharing of personal data. (We do not engage in either.)
- Right to Non-Discrimination: Exercising any of these rights will not result in different service levels.
How to Exercise Your Rights
To submit a CCPA/CPRA request, email info@quizrebel.com with the subject line “CCPA Privacy Request.” We will respond within 15 business days as required by California law.
GDPR Rights (EEA & UK)
